This was by far one of our favorite rifugios to start our trek from. After a long first day of hiking, we arrived to Rifugio Alpino Aquileia in the afternoon and were immediately able to check-in to our private rooms.
We loved spending the rest of the day and evening outside at the picnic tables sipping on delicious wine and playing games before our dinner.
The food, service and comfort of everything made the stay so memorable. And the setting against the backdrop of the mountains and with cows in the field was stunning.
