I’ve always found winery visits a little intimidating but having loved drinking Pieropan’s Soave wines I had to pay them a visit. We didn’t have time for a tour so just popped in and weren’t sure what to expect. The setting is beautiful and the architecture of the building stunning. The welcome given to us (with our young baby!) was super warm and friendly and I needn’t have worried at all. They offer a range of paid (but very reasonably priced) tastings, giving you the ability to try anything from 3 wines (€6) to their full range. I tried their 3 Soaves and was given a super informative run through their history, production and tasting notes. The wines were of course excellent and I only wish I had suitcase space for more! Read moreToday we had such a great wine tour in the beautiful hills of Soave at Pieropan! The building itself is brand new, and looked truly amazing on the in- and outside. The hostess took us through the history of Pieropan, and after that we had a tour through the whole wine process. At last we had wine tasting, of the original wines of Pieropan.
