Café Monic — Restaurant in Soave

This Italian café provided a great experience. We were greeted by two friendly Italian women who served us with warmth. After spending the morning exploring the castle, we arrived around 1 PM for coffee, drinks, and lunch. The food and beverages were excellent, and the ambiance was just right. The decor inside is welcoming and cosy. Outside you can sit on one of the barrels to enjoy one of the many wines offered. Options of Soave starting at only €3.

Siamo arrivati al café Monic con tutte le buone intenzioni del mondo. Eravamo un gruppo bello numeroso, appena arriviamo ci sbattono immediatamente fuori perché a detta loro tutti i tavoli erano riservati. Al momento della comanda solo due ragazzi non avevano voglia di prendere qualcosa, al che la signora che prende le ordinazioni si altera ed esclama che stavamo occupando i tavoli per nulla (eravamo in una ventina ad aver già scelto cosa consumare). Abbiamo finito le nostre vivande ed era il momento di pagare, al che mi alzo e porto con me la tazza che avevo sporcato, mi sono saltate addosso entrambe (commessa che sta al banco e la signora che precedentemente ci ha gentilmente sbattuto fuori dal locale) dicendomi che non avrei dovuto portare la tazza perché non avrebbero saputo dove metterla. Mi sono scusata e comunque non hanno voluto sentire ragioni.

Concludo dicendo che sia il cibo che l’ambiente è veramente piacevole ma quello che ha fatto la differenza durante la nostra esperienza è stata la cordialità che è...
