Wonderwood Lago Maggiore — Attraction in Trarego Viggiona

Non ci siamo proprio... Dopo una grande aspettativa (ci aspettavamo spazi piu ampi e organizzati) una grande delusione. Il "parco" non e' minimamente accessibile anche per chi ha lievi difficolta' motorie, figuriamoci per disabili. Ci siamo organizzati per pranzare al "Crotto". La scelta e' ridotta a pinse, focacce, panini. Per giunta non modificabili e con crema ai funghi o pistacchi in molti. In opzione un insalata. Prezzi elevati, folli per l'acqua: 1 litro di "la nostra acqua di montagna" filtrata 2.90 Euro. Non c'e frutta, gelati, ghiaccioli, un semplice piatto di pasta. Non chiedo cervo e polenta ma non si puo' in un posto soprattutto per bambini avere solo panini e simili. Pubblicizzano Dog Friendly ma non ci sono nemmeno.le ciotole dell'acqua nell'area in basso. La tanto pubblicizzata area cani con kit Almanature in omaggio pranticamente e' la costa impervia della montagna e il kit non lo danno piu. Bravi! pubblicizzate una cosa gia' sapendo che non potete mantenere quanto promesso. Non e' possibile introdurre alimenti o far picnic... ma non ci sono alternative: bar chiuso e nessuna possibilita' di acquistare anche una bottiglietta d'acqua, figuriamoci qualcosa da mangiare nell'area in basso. L'alternativa e' ritornare al crotto, prendere la loro acqua a 2.90 e riscendere. Tra la zona inferiore dove ci sono tutte le attivita' e il crotto vi e' un unica rampa con lastre in pietra irregolari e pendenza veramente incomprensibile. Per dare un idea per guadagnare piu' 3 metri in altezza c'e una rampa di circa 8. Ovviamente senza ringhiere o appigli. Pericolosissima. Ok il gettone a 2.50 per le mini land rover ma il giro e' lungo circa 100 metri e si muovono ad una velocita' talmente bassa da non consentire nemmeno una piccola salita. Piu che divertitsi i bambini si annoiano. Il tutto si esaurisce nel tempo massimo di 2 minuti. Un semplice Peg Perego va mooolto.piu' veloce. Tralasciamo la strada per arrivare perche' non e' colpa loro. Nota: internet praticamente...

Strongly recommended if you are visiting the region! Amazing adventure park! We were there with two kids, and we had a fantastic day! The attractions are safe and well-maintained. The personnel is cordial, attentive, and friendly. The panorama is breathtaking, and nature is wild and super relaxing! The park has a bar with food and drinks: beers, cola, water, etc... The restaurant was very delicious. We had a tagliere with local salumi and cheese. Then we had fantastic homemade pasta. Fast service and waitpersons are friendly and highly attentive to customer needs. Lastly, the bathroom is clean and has a changing table and a stool to help kids with...

We spent some days with the kids at Lago Maggiore and the visit to Wonderwood was definitely one of the highlight of the week. Initially we planned to only stop by for a short time but in the end stayed the whole day. The attractions are great fun and feel super safe, there is enough space for the parents to relax (if they don’t want to do the fun stuff themselves), and the food is super delicious and regional/organic. It feels like everything is super thought through and the covid 19 measures gave us all a very good feeling as well. When leaving, the kids decided we have to go back to Lago Maggiore next summer to be able to visit...
