Selva del Buffardello Adventure Park — Attraction in Unione Comuni Garfagnana

Really lovely place - small courses for younger kids from about 4/5 up which our 7 year old (when 8 & 9 year old friends) loved, and a couple of larger zipwire courses for older kids & adults. Like Go Ape but much cheaper!

Also a kids play area with swings etc and a cafe selling coffee, snacks/ice cream & even beer, all nice & shaded in the woods, so lovely on a hot day.

Staff really friendly & great with the kids, even teaching them some Italian phrases while we had coffee!

The walk down through the woods from the car park could be a bit treacherous for people with mobility problems or with babies in buggies, but apparently if you carry on on the road past the car park & go down between the side of the woods & the campo sportivo there is an easier/flatter way in.

Recensione fatta ad agosto 2020: Bel posto personale migliorabile. Circuito per i piccoli: l'addetto si è andato a sedere per quasi tutto il tempo nella capanna degli attrezzi, lasciando a noi genitori l'onere esclusivo di assistenza. Quando lo abbiamo chiamato un paio di volte nella speranza che il suo intervento fosse risolutivo, non ha stabilito col bambino in difficoltà un minimo di empatia. Circuito per i grandi: personale vago nel dare risposte e che quasi scoraggia i partecipanti. Per il resto posto bellissimo, fresco, con tavolini e bar. Pulito. Edit (settembre 2020): Fatta la recensione, comunque dando 4 stelle su 5 ed evidenziando un aspetto che ho definito semplicemente migliorabile non negativo, ricevo una risposta piuttosto piccata. Mi dispiace registrarlo. Non mi aspettavo un intrattenitore da villaggio turistico, visto che NON ero in un villaggio turistico e ne ero consapevole (perché rispondere in modo così polemico?), ma qualcuno che ogni tanto buttasse un occhio e che non dovessi chiamare tre volte quando ho avuto bisogno di aiuto. Non ci aspettavamo che l'addetto facesse amicizia con nostra figlia, ma che sull'unico passaggio in cui si è impaurita sapesse un minimo "farci coi bambini" e non ovviasse facendola scendere (come avremmo potuto fare da soli). Per quanto riguarda l'esperienza degli adulti in un paio di occasioni alla richiesta di informazioni su un percorso la risposta è stata a nostro avviso tendente allo scoraggiare ("forse meglio che non lo fate" solo per aver chiesto info). Questa è stata la nostra esperienza che, ripeto, è stata nel complesso piuttosto positiva. Vedere che fatte delle osservazioni puntuali la risposta è "non tutti i clienti sono uguali" non lascia però intravedere una vera apertura verso osservazioni che non siano un totale ed indiscusso apprezzamento. Magari torneremo per ricrederci....

We came with three adults, ages 72, 46, 45, and kids ages 12 and 8, and we all loved it. We’ve been to some adventure parks in the United States, and we found this one to be the most challenging physically. You’ll definitely get a good workout. The staff was professional and helpful.
