A Must-Visit for Food Lovers! After visiting Patrizia’s family-run acetaia, I’ll never buy balsamic vinegar from a supermarket again! The tour was intimate, informative, and full of passion — you really feel the love and tradition behind every drop. The tasting was incredible; each variety had such depth and character. Grazie!

A beautiful family-run Acetaia with extremely friendly hosts. The owner Patrizia gave us a tour of the production of high quality balsamic vinegar. Although we hardly spoke any Italian, Patrizia was able to show us everything very clearly and put a lot of effort into it. You can tell that she is passionate about it and almost everything is done by hand - a real traditional craft! :-). There is also a bookable complete tour in English including tasting at a fair price. With the camper, we stood very nicely in the semi-shade between the fruit trees on the grounds of the Acetaia. Meeting Patrizia and her daughter and tasting and buying the excellent products of their family business was one of our highlights during our trip to Italy! They produce absolutely high quality products that are far from what you can buy in the supermarket! We received a super familiar and authentic welcome and did not feel like...

We took a private tour at the farm and Diego, the owner, explained us everything about the vinegar production process, the history of the family business and the difference of traditional balsamico vinegar and aceto di balsamico di modena. We were impressed by his passion and the time he took for us. We were invited to try all different kinds of his vinegar, recepie recommendations included. Diego was super friendly and enthusiastic. What he and his family does is nothing but impressive. If you have the chance, visit their site just outside Vignola....

We were fortunate enough to make a stop at this beautiful family run Acetaia during a food tour in Bologna. What a memorable experience to learn the love and labor that goes into their products! The owner was such a beautiful person, she made us feel like family, and that we had just come home. We had an incredible tasting experience and got to bring some treasures home with us to the US. Please visit if you are ever near Bologna, you won’t regret the experience and buy some to bring...
