I went here with a local friend from Padova who, as a true Venetian, really knows his Prosecco 🍾. He told me this very spot is where the best Prosecco in the world comes from — the origin, where the specific grape is grown with the highest quality. I felt so lucky to experience it myself: tasting the original, world-class Prosecco right in the middle of the vineyards of Veneto 🌿✨.

The tour guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and very passionate. They explained everything about the production and tasting process, almost like a real wine course, and I actually learned a lot that day. The wines we tasted were simply incredible — some of the best I’ve ever had.

I also appreciated the small details: they gave us a notebook explaining everything perfectly, and when they noticed I wasn’t an Italian speaker, they immediately switched it to an English version without me even asking 🙏. That level of care for customers made the whole experience even better.

This was truly one of my best wine experiences, and I loved every moment of it. Each of us bought two bottles of Prosecco for both dessert and sea food. From now on, whenever someone asks me about Prosecco, I know exactly where to recommend or even brag about. The pure, original heart of Prosecco...

PDC is located in the Cartizze hills of Valdobbiadene's Prosecco region featuring stunning views of the surrounding hills. We attended a tasting in English and it was a fantastic experience. It started out with information on the Prosecco region and the grapes used for the different types of Proseeco. Pietro, the PdC owner then provided a Prosecco sommelier course and paired the 2 wines (Cartizze brut and dry) with matching foods. Despite having visited Valdobbiadene countless times over the last 40 years, I learned so many new things about the region, the soil, the grapes and the wines and how to properly taste them - I was blown away. The tasting is NOT free of charge and I can clearly see why. The foods and wines provided were of highest quality and it was an awesome experience all around, which went well beyond just sampling a few wines. From my perspective, this was the standout event from my trip to Valdobbiadene and I highly recommend you...

if you’re looking for a prestigious cartizze made with passion in a gorgeous, modern winery - this is your place! the tasting was by far the best we experienced. the hostess was highly knowledgeable, accommodating and spoke great english. you are also given a tasting guide to take home with you which helps you appreciate the tasting notes and production process. it explains sour/bitter/acidic tones and how to notice them.

they also have organic wines, one of very few in the area. the brut was my favorite, but all wines were of superior quality. this tasting made me more informed on how to taste and appreciate wine :)

there is attentional to detail in every design and they offer 4 different tasting options all with 4 glasses (brut, dry, and organic extra dry and organic extra brut). i could not recommend this place more for a refined tasting...

PDC is breathtaking. Words can’t discribe the beauty and history there is behind this area. The processco here is the finest you’ll try. The winery itself is also extra special. It’s owned by a 35 year old gentleman who’s passion for the wine goes far beyond what I could have ever imaged. He is extremely knowledgeable and it shows. It honorable to see his appreciation for the land and what he hopes it will become in the coming years with his and future generations. The wine was so good that we bought a case to ship it to the states. We also plan to order more once we are done with it in order to support this local business who strives to get the word out about this incredible land. I highly highly recommend visiting if you get the chance to do so.
