Had a run in with a homeless boy (seemed to have disabilities)living in this abandoned house . My boyfriend is a local so we gave the young boy a bottle of water that he drank in 5 seconds and a bag of cookies that he dumped on the ground and then he started eating them. He tried to grab my cellphone from me and then he tried to grab the car key from the ignition as we left the door open while we scoped out the area. There was 1 man and another teenager that seemed to be living at the edge of the trees right there and my bf asked what the boys issues were and they claimed he was handicapped. Just please be aware of your surroundings there while the gate is locked to see the lighthouse ! We have been there 2 yrs ago and loved the view and lighthouse. The amazing tree on the way on is breathtaking

It's a nice little place where ya can chill at a bit. The scenery you get from here is rather beautiful. The water is so blue and the sounds of the wave splashing against the rocks is so soothing. It seems to be a popular fishing spot, because I saw alot of fisherman there casting lines. This spot is worth a visit if you're ever in Port Antonio. It is just a small drive outside of the town. Ive never seen it at night, but I think the lighthouse is still active. The actual gate to this is usually closed and there are signs that say no trespassing, but the fence is open and I always see people there, so I dont know🤷🏿‍♂️ Close by there is also the Folly Ruins.

This was one of my favorite places to swim. Make sure you have good water shoes... the water is deep enough to jump in. The gate is closed but we just went through the fence.

The area is very beautiful, you can't go through the gate because it says no trespassing. The way you get around that is off to the left there is a place to park and you have to get out and go through the trees until you get to the ocean. Going right you have to do some climbing over rather sharp and jagged rock so wear appropriate shoes, not flip flops like us😬. From there you can make your way over to the lighthouse. Really great place to...
