We were met with a terrible experience. From the beginning, our expectations were shattered as our check-in experience was less than ideal. We arrived 30 minutes before the check-in time and were told to return at 3pm to receive our room keys. We returned to the front desk at 3:15 pm only to be told that our room was not ready. We ended up returning every 20 minutes for the next 3 hours. We were frustrated to see other travelers getting their rooms before us and disappointed that there was an issue with the linen and not enough pillowcases. It wasn't until 3 hours after our arrival, that we got access to our room. The room was filthy upon entering, which was not what we expected after such a long wait. This forced us to forfeit using hotel amenities for the entire first day, as we couldn't change, shower, and get accommodated in a timely manner. When we finally made it to our room, we were appalled by the filthiness. The fan was covered in dust, the bathroom drain had a lot of hair, stains on the glass of the shower, balcony was covered in dirt, the curtains to the balcony were black from dirt. The closet door had no handle to open it. It was clear that no effort was made to prepare the room. The hotel staff was rude and unprofessional when we reported our grievances. We immediately brought it to the attention of the staff at the front desk. The manager on duty, Mikala Mills, came to our room to address the issue, but to our surprise, she denied all of it despite seeing the conditions firsthand and the photos we showed her. It was frustrating that there was no accountability taken by the establishment. As I tried to express my concerns, Ms. Mills continuously interrupted me and raised her voice, refusing to listen to my complaints. In addition, when speaking with the manager Mikala, her response was “Can I leave now?” instead of addressing the issues. After expressing our dissatisfaction, we demanded some form of compensation for the inconvenience we had experienced, Ms. Mills, tried to compensate us with a bottle of champagne. This was a terrible effort on her part, considering that champagne was already included as part of the all-inclusive package. We could easily request glasses of champagne from the bar at any time, which made the offer feel like an insult. We expected a more thoughtful and meaningful gesture. This half-hearted attempt at compensation only furthered our disappointment. An hour after the encounter with the desk manager, the housekeeping manager came to our room, It was frustrating that despite Janice, the housekeeping manager, apologizing for the poor conditions, nothing was done to address them. We were assured us that the issues would be taken care of but all the problems persisted. They didn't restock towels and would only give drying towels. Hand towels or washcloths were not given. It was disappointing that no-one contacted us to follow up on the issues. The beach was not clean, with many towels staying out multiple days, no washing machine on site, which made it hard for guests to get clean linens when needed. The food was not up to par, and they didn't have enough room to accommodate the amount of guests for dinner. The buffet was unkept, with us seeing people putting their hands in the food and having to request more food to the buffet when options were finished. Lettuce was brown and tomatoes were soggy, no vegetable or fruit was kept on ice, allowing them to spoil quickly in the hot weather. The activities provided were of poor quality and didn't change. As a frequent traveler, I have come to expect a certain level of service and professionalism from the establishments. Unfortunately, we witnessed several members of the staff drinking alcohol while on the job. This behavior is unacceptable and likely contributed to the poor service we received during our stay. It was disappointing to see the staff engaging in such behavior, which not only detracts from the experience but also puts the safety of others at risk.

We arrived at check-in time, however our room was not ready. After approximately 30-minutes we returned to the front desk and were given a laundry list of things they charge extra for, a code for the Wi-Fi and a code for the in-room safe, along with a physical room key. I have not seen a room key in more than 20 years. The Wi-fi code, which was very straight forward was not working. We had to take all of our phones to the front desk to be connected. Upon entering the room the first thing we noticed was the lack of a bathroom door, which was replaced with a shower curtain, that kept falling off the rings each time we moved it. The glass shower, which was sort of modern, had a hole in the wall and no place to put the soap nor the washcloth. The toilet seat was totally detached from the bowl and we did not have enough towels for our family which was asked for repeatedly. After 2 calls and 2 in-person visits to the front desk, we finally got them. The room door looked very unsecure. The door was hollow with several holes from what I can imagine is the lock being replaced several times. The safety chain was very old and didn't look like it could keep a toddler out if pushed hard enough on the door. The TV kept turning off and on by itself. I don't know if a button on the remote was stuck or the room was haunted. The room safe was useless because there was no way to lock it. We opened the safe to see hanging wires, the computer portion which would lock the safe was missing. We had an ironing board but no iron. We asked several times and waited a long time in the room to receive one. We were told it was based on availability! When we finally decided to leave the room wrinkled, we were told by the front desk that the iron was left in our room! Why after we leave the room is someone entering? The room next door was left propped open the entire time we were there which to me was a safety concern. I would not let me teenage daughter venture to the room on her own. The food selections were poor, not really catering to people who do not eat beef nor pork. The fruits were limited to watermelon and cantaloupe. We were advised that there was a snack bar when the main dining hall was closed. The snack bar opened at 11 pm in the evening. We arrived at 11 pm promptly, but was passed by several times by the wait staff. We were informed that the food choices were burgers and wings with fries. I ordered the wings, however after waiting more than 30 minutes to get our order taken, we were informed that there were no more wings. It hadn't even been an hour and they were out!. I left out hungry and disappointed because I do not eat burgers. Condiments are put on your food without you asking which is not good for people with dietary or allergic restrictions. We had sort of a late flight. Most resorts allow you to stay on the premises. However, upon returning our room key, or wrist bands were promptly cut and we could not longer access anything on the resort without paying a $25 late checkout fee. Luckily our stay was only the two final days of our vacation. The one positive thing was the beautiful view.

I absolutely loved this place. The bellmen, Jerome and Dane, were very pleasant and helpful. Everyone was super friendly. Taking solo trips can be scary at times, but they made me feel welcome. I do think the food could be better, but overall, I hope to book my next vacation here. I truly enjoyed my stay.

We arrived at the resort and were greeted by the staff. Andrei checked us in and gave us a run-down on dining and activities. Very nice and helpful. Everyone was really friendly. The food was pretty good. We enjoyed it. The drinks were ok, so i just stuck to the beer and wine. The ocean views 😍 were amazing, especially from our balcony. The nightly entertainment was fun and enjoyable. The night club is in a nice space, when we went we chilled in there for a while listening to music 🎶 and dancing 💃🏾 Thank you to ALL the staff 😀 😊

Just came home from an amazing trip to this beautiful property! I was reading others comments prior and was afraid we would have poor service. First of all - this is the Caribbean. Everyone is on Caribbean time. So relax ppl grab your rum punch and watch the sunset. All the staff were so sweet and helpful. Especially the entertainment crew and our beautiful Zoey (if you read this Z you’re the best, Gio keeps asking about you - add me on ig amandalinneaj ❤️❤️❤️ ). We traveled with our toddler who’s 2,5 y old and everyone was super accommodating and helpful. Again THANK YOU to all the staff making our trip the best. Also - don’t miss the bbq pork on that buffet I gained 10 lbs from all the amazing food I ate 😂
