I’ve been in Jamaica since 2010 and only visited this place once in 2015 . Now I remember why . They don’t care for black and it shows bad . Visited with my granddaughter as she was on vacation and wanted her to have some family fun. The 1st waitress frowned and acted like we were speaking a foreign language . I immediately began to overly smile and assist her with her unpleasant job of serving us. We proceeded to use the water activities after asking did we need to close our tab out 1st. We were told no and played a hour in the water to see her standing at the top of the stairs with her hand on her hips . Her excuse was she was ending her shift . We paid and continued to use the water . A hour later and we come back to our table and she’s still working and ignores us . I flag another waitress down and ask if she can assist us because she was smiling and bubbly at the other table . Well she was just as nasty with us . After we placed drink orders and we had a question about the menu and things they were out of cuz it was a long list . I decided to go over to the area she was rather then have her walk back . She act as if I was speaking a strange language as well and I slowed down cuz maybe my accent was different from the other Americans with lighter skin she was grinning with when I asked her to serve us. She answered the question and then rolled her eyes at her coworker . I walked off and was taking to my daughter telling her let’s go they don’t want to serve us . She walked over with this smirk and asked what I said . I told her I was taking to my daughter , she stayed and repeated what I said . I told her yes I did say that and her rolling her eyes and being rude is unacceptable. She asked loudly who she rolled them at. I stopped talking and looked away. someone I assume was the manger came over and apologized and told her to fix it. Now every five minutes they passing asking if we alright .
Save ur money go to a local restaurant where they will offer better food and MAYBE better service.
She had the nerve to ask my daughter if I wanted to leave a tip . THANK GOD IM 50 and work as a corporate manager of customer service agents.
My money is green and I would never give them a red cent. Take me back to...

We went because we thought it would be a nice place to grab a quick hamburger. We sat and waited a VERY long time for service, we were captivated in our personal conversation so we did not realize just how long we were waiting until we found a pause in our conversation and realized a few tables around us had changed over and new tables already had drinks. We asked a floating waiter for drinks, again waited a while for drinks to show up. We waited a while more and had to ask another random waiter to put in our order. We watched as other tables that had arrived well after us sat, drank and ate and our food had still now arrived, we again asked another waiter about our food, waited and finally the burger and fries showed up, we began to eat and realized there were no utensils and we asked another waiter for utensils and condiments.
At the end when the bill arrived, on reviewing the bill we found a 18% gratuity had been automatically added, not a big deal if the service and food are good plus I typically tip 20% (so I saved 2%), I thought it was policy until I read on and found a suggested gratuity at the bottom of the bill of 10-18%, the suggested gratuity indicated to me that our waitress had pre-emptively added the highest gratuity for herself. When I confronted her about it she pretended to be ignorant as to how this could have happened, that irritated me and was the last straw us. She thought it was classy to argue with me so we paid what was owing for the food and drinks with not tip and left as she angrily grumbled about us not giving her a tip.
I would HIGHLY recommend if you go here CLOSELY critique your bill especially if you have Dellisa (Delicia) for your waiter, she is unattentive, lacks attention to detail and over all lacking professionalism. We suspect if one is doing it, others may...
Read moreWent to this Margaritaville from a cruise ship, didnt have any other excursions lined up and saw this one had a water slide and inflatables for a kid. Took a group of 6 adults (all well over 21) and a 5 year old. The kid was so excited about getting to do the slide but no where on line could we find any information as far as if there was a height restriction, had we known there was we would not have wasted time and money to go here. Be warned there is a strict height limit of 4 foot. Smaller adults will not be permitted. We set on the upper deck next to the slide entrance and had to watch several kids one after another leave the area upset and most the time crying because they couldnt do the slide. We were some of the first customers in the restaurant, the service was ok but several times we looked for our server who was a couple of buildings over on the street dancing with a large group of people. The staff was not friendly, almost rude at times. They push a lot of you and everything they do they expect a tip. Just getting into the building is difficult because of all the people around the front asking for you to buy "something" as soon as you step foot out of the cab. We tried to reach out to the business before we got there in Hope's our questions would be answered, after three days and no response we took the chance and wished we hadn't. If you got small kids dont go here. If you want the typical overpriced alcoholic drink with subpar food this is the place for you. By early afternoon the water is so crowded it makes it hard to keep a watchful eye out on little ones, or those who shouldn't be in the water. Maybe other Margaritavilles in Jamaica but not this one. If you find yourself here and like to people watch sit on the upper deck close to the road there is quite a bit of activity that...
