春は3月末から、さくら→つつじ→あやめと順番に花が咲きとても綺麗です。 昔に比べると手入れが行き届かず花が少なくなっている感はありますが… 今年は、弁天池のボート（春限定）も出ていたり、売店がありました。 延寿邸まで登れば、安芸平野〜太平洋まで望めとてもキレイな景色が見えます！ 自然いっぱいで、散策が楽しめます。 自動車は、弁天池下の駐車場に停めれるので、そこから歩いて登れます。

【R4 4/22訪問】 ツツジ祭のぼんぼりに期待膨らませましたが、残念ながら少し遅かったようです。 けれど、山ツツジ？が可愛らしく咲いていて、アヤメ・ショウブもこれから楽しめそう。アヤメ・ショウブが植わってるところに美味しそうな？ヨモギが。 同行者曰く「ここ毎日散歩に来たいな。この辺に住みたいな」 ……知らんがな😽

訪れたのが４月下旬でしたので、ツツジも終わりかけていましたが、それでもキレイでした。あと１週間早ければと悔やまれます。公園内に二ヶ所あるトイレも整備と清掃が行き届いていますので、安心です。

☝ガキの頃からの、遊び場…何処に何が有り…何が食べられる木が在るかや、危ないかとか全部知ってる場所(4～5才の頃…親父に連れられて松茸を取りに行き延寿亭で、焼いて食べたりしてた)😅珍しいとか何も無いが…12年間も学校の春の遠足場所には参ったけどね😓…でも…今は禁止事項ばかりで...
