Nagahama Seaside Park — Attraction in Atami

Visit back in Oct 2022 -- it was the pit-stop for the kids to have their playtime after checking-out from Atami and on our way to Mt. Omuro. The play area is large with great variety for kids under 3s and those older ones. It's cute that some play equipment is ocean theme too -- can you see the whale?? :D It's also nice how it is situated by the beach....so I can imagine what a fun family day it would be during hot & comfortable (not blazing hot/humid) days!! I went to the beach on 29th August, it was not much crowded and the waves were good enough to take a dive in the beach. It is 5-7 mins walk from Izu-Taga station. There is a beautiful cafe near by and they have rentals as well. It is 10 mins by train from Atami station and one can take the green car which costs 800 yens more from Tokyo to Atami.
