This museum has precious preservation of the Nojima fault (the fault producing 1995 Kobe earthquake). It was a nice opportunity that I learned about the fault geology and the resulting Kobe earthquake through close observation, and the fault trace is still in good condition despite it has been over 20 years passing. One can perceive the power of Kobe earthquake with scientific knowledge acquired when visiting there. The only drawback was the teaffic. It took me a long way from Kobe city to get there.
