Ebetsu City Ceramic Art Center — Attraction in Ebetsu

This was a complete surprise ! I had no idea what to expect from the few information I found online (website is only in Japanese and there is not much info in general) but it's so nice ! The place is gorgeous, the permanent exhibition is top class. Absolutely mind blowing. They have some Ebetsu map in English and a brochure with some text about the exhibit, other than that, it's all Japanese (it didn't bother me since the pieces were so beautiful) The place is an hour by walk from Nopporo Station, not much around, but there are some buses during the day that go there, it's fast and cheap (I took the number 29, JR Pass works) You can easily find the time schedule at the tourist center in Sapporo and plan ahead. They have a tiny shop selling some ceramics from Ebisu, it's small but they are so beautiful and affordable. I highly recommend going, I wish I knew it was so nice and worth a full day so that I'd had have time to walk...
