It isn’t a lavish onsen but it does what it does right.
The price was on point. I was a little surprised that we had to pay for my son who isn’t in elementary school. Usually kids that age get free entry. It wasn’t an issue just a surprise.
The facilities were clean. The showers provided shampoo and body soap.
There are two main baths inside. One had a jacuzzi attached to it. One of the jets was not working when I went there. There is a cold bath near the sauna which is always a treat.
Outside there are two nice open-air baths facing the ocean. This is the reason to come to this place. It is one of the more beautiful scenes that I have enjoyed while having an onsen. I really loved this part of it and it made my day.
Literally, go here, if only to experience these outdoor baths with a spectacular view.
The onsen is part of a michinoeki so there were shops and places to eat nearby. We went too late in the day so everything was closed or closing.
After enjoying the onsen, you can chill out in a tatami room. I think they also had some rental rooms if you want to relax in peace. It was pretty quiet on the day that we went so there was no reason to rent one out.
Definitely check it out...
