We booked the Sapporo Classic 40th Anniversary Tour which costs JPY 1,000 per adult (free for kids). The tour went for approximately 45 minutes in Japanese. Hats off to the tour guide who maintained her smile and incredibly enthusiastic voice throughout the tour. While the tour was fascinating, it was difficult to follow the Japanese narration and we would have preferred to skip straight to the tasting :) Included in the tour ticket are 2 drinks - 2 beers for the drinkers and for the designated driver (me), a non-alcoholic beer and an apple juice. 20 minutes is allotted for tasting which is slightly rushed and for those of us non-drinkers, it would have been nice to be able to take away our second drink rather than having to finish it there and then. Overall a pleasant experience and a lot less crowded than the beer museum in Sapporo.

工場見学予約時間５分前到着で少々ぎりぎりでしたが私たちよりぎりぎりの方達がいて大丈夫でした。余裕を持って行動が無難ですね。コロナ前に一度来てとても丁寧な対応と説明で、もう一度家族で来たいねと話していて漸く実現しました。やっぱり説明や対応はとても丁寧で解りやすく、コロナ開けもあって予約の人数制限が前の半分くらいなので観やすかったです。お盆休みなので稼働していない部分があり残念でしたが楽しかったです。見学終わりの試飲は車で見学に来た方は誰なのか先に確認し札を掛けてました。私はお茶を頂きました。暑いから美味しかった。家族で下のレストランでジンニスカン食べてから札幌のホテルに入ろうと話してたら、係の人が予約をお取りしますか？と聞かれ後はスムーズに食事が出来ました。ご親切有難う御座います。工場見学本当に楽しかったです。

千歳空港から電車で来ました。 最寄り駅は無人駅ですが、IC改札があり便利です。 私が行った日は人が少なくて、晴天で空気もキレイで庭園の自然を満喫出来ました。 レストランで食事をした後に庭園を歩くのもおすすめです。
