Simple yet effective station. No restroom available. Also, with no turnstile or gate, there's no way of using your JR pass to enter or exit. Also, when using this station to visit the Sapporo Beer factory tour, Google maps will direct you to use the bridge over the tracks. On my way back from the factory I realized there's a road to the station on each side, saving a good amount of walking. When getting off the train from Sapporo don't follow Google Maps to cross the tracks. Instead, use the walkway in the station.

完全無人駅で券売機さえ有りませんが、交通系ICカード対応の改札機が設置されています。Kitaca、Suica等交通系ICカードか事前に乗車券等を用意していない場合は、ホームに有る発券機で乗車駅証明を受け取って、着駅での精算になります。 駅構内には改札機前にベンチがありますが、それ以外は何も無いです。ホーム上にもベンチがありません。また、改札外にエスカレーター等も当然なく、荷物が多いと階段の昇り降りが大変です。 駅前に公園があり、暖かい時期で天気が良ければ、木陰のベンチで列車を待つのも良いでしょう。公園内にトイレもあります。 昼間の列車は北広島～新千歳空港間を各駅に停まる「区間快速エアポート」だけが30分毎に走ります。この列車は空港利用客の荷物で通路まで塞がっていることも多いので、当駅から札幌方面へ利用するなら、指定席を利用するのが良いでしょう。JR東のアプリ「えきねっと」なら、出発時刻直前まで手数料無しで変更もできますので、便利です。
