My friend and I were hiking in the area and got caught in a rainstorm, so we stopped into this spa, which was only a short taxi ride from one of our train stops on the way back to Tokyo. It was wonderful! The staff were so kind and helpful, even when we came in literally dripping wet. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided, and towels were available to rent for a small fee. There were multiple kinds of baths and saunas to try out, including a lovely outdoor bath and a tea bath. Theres also a bright and spacious rest area with TV and free Wi-Fi, to wind down for the day. It also serves light food and beer before 9 pm. Bath closes at 11 pm on weekday. Staff are friendly too.
