A nice little park. The woods are deep and beautiful and the lava cave is a nice little trip. It's great because it's only 290 yen per person in the cave and DO take advantage of the free helmet rental for the cave. I would have some bruises on my head if I hadn't used the helmet. Also, though it's a Lava Cave, it's still very cold. There's a cool part if the cave filled with ice and that was my favorite part.

The park also has a little ice cream stand at the entrance with soft serve corn ice cream. It's good, but go for the mixed corn and vanilla cone - there is such a thing as too much corn ice cream. This makes the park worth...

Take a hike through the forest and enjoy the wind cave. The forest is peaceful and quiet, but this location is not the stop for the suicide forest. The cave is interesting to see and only cost 290¥ per adult to enter, but it is very small and takes 15 minutes for the whole thing. There is a small parking lot and souvenir shop and small cafe. They were selling corn flavored soft serve ice cream, tasty! I would not recommend to make this a destination spot to come visit, but if it's on your route or not out of your way then it's worth it for...

Great tourist attraction. Go for a hike in the woods and see the cave later. The cave was made by solidified lava 1000 years ago. Parking is free, next to the building but it can fill up quickly. There are toilets and a souvenir shop. Inside the cave, the temperature is about 3C. It's 200 meters long and it takes 15 minutes to explore. Inside, naturally formed ice pillars can be observed. The caves does not produce echo as the basaltic rocks absorb the sound. The low temperature in the cave was used for storage of silk...

The Wind Cave Shop is a nice spot to browse before or after exploring the Fugaku Wind Cave. It has a good range of local souvenirs, snacks, drinks, and Mount Fuji-themed gifts, pretty much the same selection you’ll find at the Ice Cave shop down the road. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly, and it’s a convenient place to grab something cold to drink or pick up small gifts to take home. Plenty of parking available and clean restrooms nearby. Nothing fancy, but a solid, well-stocked stop that rounds out the Wind Cave visit perfectly.

The ice cream is good. Way to wind cave is bumpy with rocks and roots. Free parking. No restroom for people with physical disabilities. Be careful that there is awful, smelly restrooms. As I mentioned, no restroom for people with physical disabilities. They might tell you to use larger restroom which is 3 km away from here!

The souvenir shop at the wind cave does not have many attractive items. I usually buy a couple of things when I visit a tourist destination. However, I don’t find anything at the shop I want to purchase. The workers are very friendly and very polite. It will be nice if they have more attractive items available!
