Laundry Rock of Benkei :It was year 1186 when Benkei was traveling along this coast when the tide was low around here. その昔、源義経と弁慶が、頼朝の追討から逃れるため奥州へ向かう途中にここで旅衣を洗ったという伝説が残っています。

日本海の荒波に浸食されてできた様々な紋様のある奇岩です。

波が高くなければ下に降りることも出来ます。 透き通った大変綺麗な海水ですが、泳ぐのは場違いです。 滞在時間はそこまで長くいれる所ではありませんが、綺麗な海が見えるこの場所はドライブデートの立ち寄り場所としてはいいと思います。

トイレは水が流れっぱなしになっていますが、大変臭くて汚いので使用はオススメしません。

時間のある方はここから5キロぐらいにある鉾島(ほこじま)もセット...
