It's not a great beach for water-based activities, as the waves are thin. But the large tidal area makes it a great place for young children to learn and experience the beach. Would give it 5 stars if the Tokyo Bay area was just less polluted, as you can constantly find small pieces of garbage. If you're careful barefoot is safe enough, but shoes will provide a more relaxed experience. Also, the local food vendors have great pricing, with the kebab being very filling for the price, and lots of shaved ice! There is an Indian/Pakistani food stand with interesting food. Chicken Biryani 550 yen,BUT AVOID THIS INDIAN FOOD AND KEBAAB STAND. VERY POOR QUALITY FOOD AND DODGY HYGIENE
