Ashigezaki tenbōdai Observatory — Attraction in Hachinohe

Very very beautiful coast line! Does not look like Japan at all. I felt like I am in the middle of the ocean on a volcanic island!

If you love ocean, you must go there.

There are also coast line trails (kind of hiking), and one very cultivated coast line road where one can enjoy easy walking while breathing fresh air and observing ocean and various flowers and greenery on both sides of the road. There are also pine trees growing just by the ocean!

Further there is a large sand beach (no swimming though, except a small area close to the village). Locals surf here sometimes.

Sometimes the fog can come out of nowhere and pretty fast, so be careful, but it creates...

This is a great spot BUT don’t be a typical tourist!

Go see the beautiful spot down the slope to the left as you’re looking at the sea. You should be able to explore the small shoals and rocks where you can take some great photos assuming the water levels are decent.

Climb the rock also to the left and get to the top, it’s a breathtaking...
