Homma Yoseki Museum — Attraction in Hakone

I had the pleasure of visiting the Homma Yoseki Museum in Hakone and participating in their hands-on experience program—it was truly fantastic! I created a beautiful wooden coaster under the guidance of a professional artist. The process was not only enjoyable but also gave me a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship behind Yoseki (traditional Hakone marquetry). The coaster turned out to be a wonderful keepsake, and my family loved it as a souvenir.

The program is incredibly popular, with many famous Japanese actors, talents, and even international stars like the Foo Fighters having experienced it. This adds a special sense of connection to the art and culture of Hakone.
