Great value for money, lots of parking space and a interesting collection of animals. For the price paid the zoo definitely provides a good experience. It's great for people of all ages and accessible for young children, elderly people and Wheelchair users etc. Unfortunately as other people have noted there are empty cages, which was disappointing. The facilities to get food and souvenirs are lacking. The zoo feels like it could benefit from being updated and increase the facilities as well as the animals. I'm sure an increase in entry fee would be accepted if the zoo was improved. Toyohashi zoo is quite close and offers more. However, Hammazoo does open on Mondays unlike a lot of other attractions. Overall it was a great day out and great value for money. I can happily recommend a visit.

The entry fee was very cheap, and children up to middle school age could enter for free, which makes it a great place for families. There was also an area where you could feed the goats at no extra cost, but the food was a bit limited. Since we visited in July, the weather was hot, but it was still fun to walk around and see the animals. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, especially for kids.

Cheap entry price and everything under middle schoolers are free. There was also a part where you can feed goats for free but there wasn't much food to feed. It was really cold but they were doing a special gift unwrapping Christmas event for the monkeys, that was really fun to watch.

visited the zoo on sunday. surprisingly a lot of variety in terms of animal species. some animals could have ised more space and caring, which wad sad to see for the animals. however, cant complain too much given the cost of entry was very cheap. one note-forgot to bring cash for the tickets but we were actually able to pay via credit card(although they dont accept cards officially). if anyone is unfortunate enough to forget bringing cash like us, you can at...
