霧多布岬展望駐車場から、数分で到着である。散策路並に、道路も整備されているので歩きやすい👏。太平洋を一望できる展望台で、半島の東側に位置する。ここには東屋や、展望台がある🆗。展望台は、平屋だが、踊場つきの階段で、平屋の屋上にあがる🆗。柵に囲まれているので安全、安心で、グルッと３６０度を、見渡すことができる🆗。平屋の内部もガラス張りなので、寒さを凌ぎながらも良いのでは。しかし少々汚れと、虫の死骸も気になるところだ😅。崖側の柵際からは、霧多布岬(湯沸(とうふつ)岬)にある、灯台、断崖の景色は良いアングルだ☺️。

およそ30年ぶりの訪問。シーズンはずれかつ、平日のためか誰一人おらず。さらには、公衆トイレも閉鎖していて、寂しいうえにとても寒かったのですが、素晴らしいパノラマを満喫できました。またすぐそばに、いつの間にか温泉施設もできており、その露天風呂（ちょっと小さい）で、ルパン三世のテーマを聞きつつ、浜中町の景色を満喫しました（他にお客様がいなかったので、スマホで聞いてしまいました。ちなみに浜中町は、ルパン三世の作者のモンキーパンチさんの出身地です）帰りがけに、厚岸で牡蠣を満喫し、充実した旅ができました。

脇にある売店のおじいちゃんがとても良い人。ブランドの牛乳が一瓶100円(30年前から変わらぬお値段とのこと。)だったり、注文されてから揚げ始める餅とパンの中間のような食感の、握りこぶしくらいのお団子(2コ)もたったの200円だったり、こんなに安くていいのか不安になるレベル。本業は別にあり、殆ど道楽でやっているんだとか。ちょっと衛生面が気になる雰囲気ではありますが(笑)安くて美味しくて大満足。基本的には夏場に店を開けており、それ以外の時期は旅行業者などからの要請でもなければ開いてないそうです。かなりご高齢で、一人で切り盛りしてるので、いつまでも健康でいて欲しいですね。 ...
