The beach is recommended for water activities except for swimming with kids. The beach is not crowded when we visited on weekend.
People can enjoy boating, jet-ski, body board, etc.
There is a parking lot nearby but you need to go down the stairs to go to the beach. It is difficult especially when you have lots of stuffs to carry. The parking fee is 2,000yen.
There is a western style toilet and a common shower area. You need to pay 500yen. There is no time limit compared to coin shower rooms.
There is a swimming area but there’s a lot of rocks. The sand is too soft when you step on it.

Read moreCame around 9:45 on a weekend in August. Was expecting the parking to be a problem, but the lot right on the beach was pretty empty, and still not full when leaving around 14:00. There’s not too much room for people as most of the beach is on an incline but the top flat part can accommodate tents easily. There is one beach shack that I assume has a shower, and some food. The toilet is near the parking up the stairs (10 seconds of stairs).
Nice and not crowded! Has a rock you can swim to, and people are paddle boarding as well. Seems like a local family beach and has lifeguards. Parking was 2200 flat until 17:00 or 19:00...
