Went to Keta Wakamiya shrine on the 1st of 2022 for Hatsumode! The shrine is beautiful in the snow😍. It was packed with visitors so it was hard to find parking. The roads were very slippery, it didn't seem like they have spread salt on the ground to melt the snow or have any antislip measures. There were many elderly there it looked very dangerous for them to climb the stairs and down. I also slipped a few times...
