Good way to get into the mountain hiking area. Also good for shorter hikes. There's a cafe and small shop and you can rent boots if you need them. The hike around the lower area is relatively easy and the ascent to the summit is not difficult. Sign your name in the book if you want to go to the top and make sure you are properly equipped.

I was blown away with the whole experience of being lifted up and over the hillside up to the mountain side. The walk around the base was as good as walking the the summit with caldera ponds and sulphurous has emissions coming from the mountain side. There was still plenty of snow even in early summer to make a snow girl ❄️❄️❄️

We came on a Sunday and there was a queue for parking already at around 10am. Return ticket for adult costs 3200 yen. Frequency is every 15 mins. There’s a lovely easy circuit of around 1.7km starting from the mountain top car station.

최고의 경험이었습니다 다이세쯔잔의 아사히다케를 가기위해 아침부터 삿포로에서 달렸습니다 날씨는 맑았고 기온은 영하 11도정도였습니다 많은 외국인들이 백컨트리를 하기 위해 스키나 보드를 지닌 채로 로프웨이를 탑승합니다 20분 간격으로 있습니다 정상에서는 그대로 스키나 보드를 타고 내려 올 수 있고 정상부근에서 더 위로 올라 갈 수 있습니다 크로스 컨트리용 스키를 빌리거나 스노우슈즈를 빌려서 등반 할 수 있습니다 스노우 슈즈를 빌려서 등반하는데 눈이 너무 높게 쌓여있어서 발이 푹 푹 빠져 등반에 어러움이 있었습니다 크로스 컨트리용 스키를 타는 다른 사람들은 슥슥 잘만 미끄러지면서 올라가더군요 정상의 경관은 그야말로 장관이었습니다 좀처럼 보기 힘든 끝없는 새하얀 광경이었고 너무 깨끗하고 보는것만으로도 기분이 좋아지는 광경이었습니다 다만 온통 눈밭이므로 자외선 차단용 선글라스나 고글은 필수입니다 로프웨이 정상에서 약2시간 정도 스노우 슈즈를 신고 올라갔다 내려왔습니다. 코스는 더 있지만 중간에 눈보라가 심해져서 방향감각이 없어져, 조난당할까봐 중간에 내려왔습니다 발자국을 따라 내려오니 무사 도착할 수 있었습니다 홋카이도에 여행오시면 꼭 한번 들르길 추천합니다 잊지못한 풍경과 코스였네요

6月の中旬、近くの御宿しきしま荘に宿泊し、観光でロープウェイに行きました。残雪がややありますが、春の訪れを感じることができ、晴天に恵まれベストタイミングでした。ロープウェイは往復で3,200円ほどでしたが、乗って行く価値のあるとても北海道の大自然を感じられる場所でした。ロープウェイは森林限界を越える、日本で唯一の場所との事でした。ロープウェイを登ると、ハイキングコースを1.5時間ほどで回れます。行った時には、残雪があるので、長靴のレンタル300円を利用しました。思いっきりサンダルで行っていた為、長靴をレンタルしましたが、スニーカーでは汚れてしまうほど、雪解け水の中を歩く箇所も多々あり、絶対に借りることをお勧めします。笑また、無料で杖？を借りれるので、素人にはこれもあったほうがいいです。かなり楽に歩けました。大雪山の広大さを身近で感じることができる、北海道らしい魅力が満載でした。ロープウェイの上の駅にある売店の商品ラインナップもなかなか素晴らしいです。
