It’s insanely expensive for Japan for a mediocre meal. We had the chefs set menu for dinner. Portions for each course were pretty small. By the end, we were not quite full. Most of the courses were decent, but none were amazing. They did not show the price of the meal beforehand and we were shocked to find out it was 22000 yen for 2 people, many times the price of other meals we enjoyed far more. The atmosphere would have been nice but there were families with kids being noisy. We don’t mind the kids, however it detracts from the ambiance and people do not pay this kind of price for a family restaurant where toddlers are crying and yelling. We stayed at this hotel so it was an easy option to have dinner here, but I would strongly recommend driving half an hour to Higashimachi for a much better dinner at 1/4...

Lots of loud and obnoxious kids for what’s supposedly fine dining.
Save yourself the money and disappointment and make the 30 minute drive into town. The restaurants there are Michelin level where you’ll spend $25 per person even after drinks...
