Hiroshima Jogakuin University — Attraction in Hiroshima

I attended this university for my one year study abroad, and I loved it. The teachers were all very helpful and friendly, even when the language barrier was at its strongest. I made many Japanese and international friends while here. A bus ride to the heart of Hiroshima only takes about thirty minutes, and if you have a bike, the ride there is very simple. If you are lucky, there are free apartments available for international exchange students (aside from electricity and water bills). I was unsure of how to set up a sim card, activate water and electricity services, and health insurance when I arrived, but my tutor that the university arranged was happy to help. You do not have to come from money to have an experience like this. With scholarships from home and Hiroshima Jogakuin, I basically only paid for the flights there and back.
