陰陽山森林公園に寄ってみた。 道路からは駐車場と一部が見えるだけだが、結構奥が深い。 陰陽山森林公園の中にある陰陽神社は、水戸藩第２代藩主の徳川光圀が山頂の２つの大きな岩を見て感動し陰陽石と名付なづけ、鳥居に自ら「陰陽山」の額を書いて石に刻ざめせ社殿を造営したもので、現在も家庭円満の神として信仰を集めているそうだ。 園内にはヤマザクラやツツジ、サツキ、アジサイなどが四季折々に咲き誇る トイレは、小便器が二つと和式便器があった。
