典型的な円墳です。石室の中にも入ることができますので、構造が分かりやすいです。この一帯に鬼の窟古墳など当時の首長を祀る古墳がたくさん有りますが、掛木古墳はその一つでしょう。古墳館とトイレが敷地内に整備されているので、最も見やすく、便利のいいところにある古墳と言えそうです。

石室に入ることができる古墳はあまりありません！とても残存状態が良いです。中に入るとライトアップしてくれてありがたい笑 同じ敷地内にある「壱岐風土記の丘 古墳館」は閉館してしまったようですが、古墳だけでも見る価値がありますので是非立ち寄りましょう。

石室に入ることができる古墳はあまりありません！とても残存状態が良いです。中に入るとライトアップしてくれてありがたい笑 同じ敷地内にある「壱岐風土記の丘 古墳館」は閉館してしまったようですが、古墳だけでも見る価値がありますので是非立ち寄りましょう。
