It's the terminus of the Kintetsu Line, between Torii-mae and Ikoma-Sanjo stations. This station also marks the summit of Mount Ikoma and serves as the gateway to the children’s amusement park located at the mountain's top. It is especially notable for its uniquely decorated trains and the fairly steep slope that the train traverses. Midway along the route, passengers must change trains. Although the journey covers just about 4 km, it is not particularly fast, but it's quite pleasant for a sightseeing outing. A one-way ticket costs 500 yen, with a discounted rate for children. For hiking enthusiasts, there's a scenic trail along the train route and passes by the historic Hozan-ji Temple, offering an alternative way to enjoy the beauty of the area.
