野間仁根バラのミュージアム（吉海郷土文化センター） — Attraction in Imabari

We came here quite late on a rainy day during our Shimanami Kaido Cycling Trip.

We were the only ones in the museum so the atmosphere was very calming and we were able to leave our bags in sitting area near the entrance.

It was really cool to see the artworks on the second floor, that were about the nature and sceneries we had been seeing on our trip across the islands.

野間仁根さんが好きで、 愛媛に野間さんのミュージアムがあることを知り、 楽しみにしておりました。

立派な建物でしたが展示作品の点数が少なすぎです。様々な美術館に行きましたが、これほど少ないのは初めてで何かの間違いではないかと思いました。

また入館時はバラの写真パネルが多く、 もったいないスペースの取り方。 期間イベントがあるにしても、 もっと他スペースを一考したり詰めてでも しっかり作品を見せる工夫をして 唯一無二の野間ワールドを堪能させて欲しい。
