Michikajima Campground Michikajima Natural Park — Attraction in Imabari

Small flat camp ground just off the Shimano kaido. We used it for a bike packing trip. It has basic facilities, outdoor pot washing/clothes washing area and basic toilets (Japanese style only). Loud car noise from the bridge...so very little sleep. If you are lucky enough to pitch your tent by the sea wall you can drown out some of the bridge noise. Also bright blinking/flashing light from the bridge. Great for scooters or folks with earplugs? But for a cyclists looking for the sounds of nature and quiet this is not it.
