I really can’t recommend place enough for your stay during your explores

Kenichi San is super kind and frankly helped to organise us after a weary day of riding to shimanami kaido

The owner (Keniichi - San) was really kind in reaching out before our arrival to help us look a local sushi spot for dinner ( highly recommended to do this) the food and the views of the bay was spectacular.

The accommodation fits 3 adults nicely in Tatami style sleeping arrangement and they even prepared pyjamas for us which was a nice touch since we hasn’t had time to wash our sleepwear for a few days

The location was easy to find even when we were exhausted and we were able to do laundry, have a nice shower and just rest)

If you are inclined to cook for yourself there is a small stove with tea / coffee making facilities in the room as well

They were so accommodating and frankly made us feel so welcome and relaxed

It was great the the accommodation is on the way to the rest of the bicycle trail and close to the service centre (if you need support) so it just felt nice to continue the ride there

The only thing we regret is not having more space to pack the jams and honey they sold on site 😭

We arrived at 1830 and host kindly recommend restaurant and booked for us. They also provide location of local supermarket. And also a cup of their handmade mandarin tea !

The room is very cozy and comfortable! I love the warm table! It’s so Japanese and comfortable to be in there in cold weather. Futan are soft and comfy. There are also a small kitchen. The room is so tidy. Although the room is not very spacious, the host well use every space in the room. A lot of sweet details, like the small night lantern and the kitchen setup. Love it! The full sea view from the room is also astonishing!

The room is much more beautiful than the picture on their official website!

Also, there are a lot of travel information and pamphlet. I can tell that the host really paying many efforts willing to promote hakata island. Many information even cannot be found on google map. But I need to catch the flight next morning and cannot look into this island properly. Here will definitely be in my re-visit list! I want to come cycling next time!

Fabulous place and very very kind owner.

We did the Shimanami kaido cycling route. We were extremely late for check in due to the weather conditions and the owners send a kind message to check in with us that we were all ok.

Amazing Sea Views from both the rooms. Well kept with many little nice touches. The owners have painstakingly curated and designed the place to feel like home. It is well laid out and adorned with very high quality amenities such as the famous Imabari towels, ceramic cook top, combi microwave oven, fridge, combined cycle air conditioning (heating and cooling), tatami mats and futon beds. The attached bathroom has an interesting shower head that boast of a technology that create nano bubbles for a super clean 🫰

The other family room can easily fit 6-8 adults and boost the same high quality fittings and furnishings.

They provide luggages forwarding services to our next hotel in Imabari as well.

We bought some very nice marmalades that were tasty, organic and homemade.
