INAWASHIRO SNOW PARADISE — Attraction in Inawashiro

Unbelievably amazing experience in this skiing resort!! It's my first experience in snowboarding, and I'm truly grateful for coming here!! Could you imagine they are actually free of admission fee on weekdays if you join their membership (don't worry, it's free too)? Yes, 100% free of charge!

The tracks were all well maintained, and fortunately, the weather was superb during my visit with wonderful snow quality, which enabled me to enjoy snowboarding a lot. The view was spectacular overlooking the gorgeous Inawashiro Lake. Rental service, facilities and other services are awesome, such as complimentary pick-up at the nearest JR Station and (shockingly) from Koriyama Station, which is more than an hour of drive. The only thing you need to do if you want to book the free shuttle bus to/from Koroyama Station is to reserve on their website. That's generous, isn't it?

This ski resort is also trying their best to equip with technology and AI for capturing you when you are snowboarding or skiing, and in one of the tracks, they literally recorded you with a number of cameras, with the video available for you to download for FREE (yes, free again!)

I had a lot of fun playing at the snow park with my daughter and husband. It's still shockingly generous to me that they provide a free shuttle bus from Koriyama station, which is approx. a one hour drive. The staff were all friendly, even with my very limited Japanese.

I was surprised we managed to get a slot for the bus, because we only booked one day before. I guess I got lucky, normally you have to book days in advance. I only managed to book 2 seats for me and my husband, so I had to put my daughter on my lap and the staffs were okay with that.

The ticket to the kids snow park cost 1000 yen per person and lasts for the whole day. You can even try different types of sleds with that price, and snow areas too. Since it was my first time, the staff was so kind to help me with ticket purchase and showing me the location.

There was also a kids room with toys in it, which was really helpful when my daughter got sleepy and a bit cranky because of the cold.

The only thing missing is probably halal menu at the restaurant so I got the drink bar set, and some potato fries to be safe.

I'm definitely planning on coming here...

I have been to many places for Snowboarding but this is one of my favorite. There are many reasons : Lift price is wayyyy cheaper than any other places. There are too many lifts for going higher. From beginner to advanced they have all the courses. Snow are well maintained always. Stuffs are kind and helpful. The nearest conbini is just 2 km away. There are many restaurants within 3km. Many parking areas. They have night game up to 22:00. Many resting places. Vending machines are not that expensive.

Only negative points I saw While purchasing ticket for my friend is that in the central ticket purchasing counter they have only one window for general line and two windows for those who reserved ticket online (may be to promote to buy online but they should consider the long queue in the general line) Some stuffs are not well trained.

However skipping the minor things, I’m pretty sure you will definitely enjoy this place both perfect for ski and snowboarding.
