Read moreThe first time I crossed the Kadowaki Suspension Bridge (門脇吊橋 / Kadowaki-tsuribashi) was back in the 1980s. At that time, the bridge would vibrate and swing quite a bit, especially if people tried jumping up and down on it. The bridge deteriorated and was completely replaced in 1997 and is extremely rigid now. The bridge straddles coastal cliffs with a small picnic area on the northern side of a deep, narrow inlet and a lighthouse on the southern side. The Pacific Ocean view from here is mesmerizing. You visit anytime whether its a Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Night it wont disappoint you.
I have been there many times and based on ur preference you can decide how to spend your time here. You can just visit the suspension bridge directly if you don’t want to walk much. You can also take a walk along the shoreline through dense trees if you park your car to the Tiffany lamp museum with a flower garden parking.
