Roadside Station Ito Marinetown — Attraction in Ito

There is a foot onsen outside were you can sit and eat your goodies. There is a dog onsen too but only from 1000 to 1500, after that they drain them :(. If are traveling north bound it can take some time to turn in to the rest stop if there is traffic there is no dedicated turn. There is parking on the north bound side in small lots to the left. Great view of the sea. Not much to see in the facilities if you're not a big omiyage (souvenir) shopper, but parking is free. The restaurants--the facility overall-- are not very pet-friendly which is disappointing since there's so many visitors with dogs! However, the 45 minute boat tour is a must--dogs allowed! It 's fun to watch fish from the underwater windows, and feed the seagulls(100 yen for a tiny bag of shrimp snacks is a bit...

Good food service and a spacious onsen with multiple baths of differing temperatures, a sauna and a mineral bath. Combined with a reasonable price, I really don't have any complaints about this place. Everything is booked through digital ticketing machines that don't have an English language option.
