There is a foot onsen outside were you can sit and eat your goodies. There is a dog onsen too but only from 1000 to 1500, after that they drain them :(. If are traveling north bound it can take some time to turn in to the rest stop if there is traffic there is no dedicated turn. There is parking on the north bound side in small lots to the left.
