Kinkowan Park — Attraction in Kagoshima

Great park with young kids. Free entry, plenty of parking and fun playgrounds.

Its a shame the athletic park has now closed but it still offers amazing walks and exploring around the grounds with many spots for picnics and ball play.

There are toilets available and some vending machines but no cafe.

Easily spend 2-3 hours there...

平川動物公園の隣りにある広い公園です。トレードマークは、高台にあるロケットの模型。 高台からは錦江湾そして桜島を一望出来ます。 広場にはロケット型のアスレチックやシーソー、ロッキング遊具、スプリングザイルクライミングなど体を目一杯動かせる遊具が一杯です。ロケット型のアスレチックはロケットの中に梯子があり、登ることが出来ます。 結構高さがあるので、今思うと小さい頃はよく怖がらずに遊んだなぁと思いました。子どもがどこまで登れるか成長を楽しむのもあり。 広場以外にはバラ園や高台まで山道を登るアスレチックコースがあります。 アスレチックコースは、年齢やルベル別に様々な山道の中のアスレチックをクリアして高台のロケットを目指すアドベンチャー！昔と違って安全面への考慮なのか、幾つかのアスレチックは利用禁止になっており、少し残念でした。 無料の公園...
