Natural Museum — Attraction in Kanazawa

Animals, plants, and aquatic organisms living in Ishikawa Prefecture are on display. There are no live creatures on display, but rather stuffed animals. The exhibits are all very realistic and have explanations that relate to Ishikawa Prefecture.

I visited on a holiday and there were very few visitors. The main attraction was the giant squid. The giant squid exhibit is rare, so I highly recommend going to see it. The science experiment section is currently closed due to infection control measures, but I would like to visit again when it is reopened. I think children can enjoy it from around 4 years old. 近くの大学に用事があり帰りに寄りました

駐車場は横手にあり少し階段をのぼったりします 正面には車椅子用の駐車場が１台分のみあります

入館は無料です

入館すると職員の方が足早に出て来られてどうぞご自由にごゆっくりご覧ください的なアナウンス そして「最新の展示はコウノトリの巣です」 とご紹介頂いて拝見したコウノトリの巣はとても立派で 「ここへ持って来る途中に巣材が落ちているので本当のサイズはきっともっと大きいと思います」 とご案内頂きなるほどーー！と納得 身近な動植物、太古の化石や電気？エネルギーの色々みたいな展示もありました

昨今入店時や入館時にする除菌用アルコールが消えている所もありますが点々とアルコールが設置されているのが良かったです
