There is nothing left of this castle but the outline of the hill it was built on. Even then it is totally overgrown so it is only possible to visit the shrine at the entrance. During the winter months (wouldn’t recommend any other time of year because of snakes and hornets populating the place) you can climb into the space beyond the shrine and you can get an idea of what it looked like with the different levels of the complex but it’s hardly worth the effort.

案内板があってスグ登れる。ちっこい神社に城跡石碑があった。明智光秀サンと同じ桔梗紋(*´∀`)♪ 土岐一族の城館のようﾀﾞﾈ(^^)/ 石垣があるケド後世の..って畑作った時の石積だと思う。段々曲輪に見える段々畑(^-^; 登る程なかなかのヤブになってくるよん

守護土岐氏の一族、羽崎氏の居城とされる。天文年間に起こった守護土岐氏と斎藤道三方の戦い羽崎口の戦いの起こった場所とされる。城の遺構としては特にありませんが石碑とお稲荷さんがありその上に石垣がありました。それ以上、上がる事が出来なさそうでしたので引き返しました。
