Akechi Castle Ruins — Attraction in Kani

美濃源氏土岐氏の支流である明智一族が室町時代にこの一帯に土着して城を構えたそうです。

山の麓にある大手門から石畳の階段を上がっていくと、本丸へと辿り着きます。本丸北側には木製の展望台が設置されていて、そこから可児市を一望することができます。展望台から周りを眺めると、見晴らしのよい場所を選んで築城されたことが良く分かります。

明智一族は、長良川の戦いで斎藤道三に味方し、道三が破れるに及んでこの城に籠城したそうです。斎藤義龍の降伏勧告を拒否したために討伐を受けることになり、その多くが自刃したようです。

織田信長に仕えた明智光秀は、城が落城する寸前のところで逃げ延びて諸国を放浪し、越前(福井県)の国主である朝倉家に仕官したようです。光秀の前半生については良く分からない部分が多いようですが、名族の生まれながら大変な辛苦を味わったことは間違いないようです。

It is said that the Akechi clan, a branch of Mino Genji Toki, established a castle in the area during the Muromachi period.

From the main gate at the foot of the mountain, go up the cobbled stairs to Honmaru. There is a wooden observation deck on the north side of Honmaru, from which you can overlook Kani city. If you look around from the observation deck, you can clearly see that it was built by choosing a location with a good view.

It is said that the Akechi clan was a part of Saito Do-san during the battle of the Nagara River, and Ikishiro came to this castle as Do-san broke. It is likely to be punished for refusing the surrendering advice of Yoshitatsu Saito, and it seems that many of them are self-cutting.

Akechi Mitsuhide, who served Oda Nobunaga, fled and roamed countries just before the castle was torn down, and seemed to be in charge of the Asakura family, the country owner of Echizen (Fukui Prefecture). It seems that there are many parts that I do not know about the first half of Mitsuhide's first class, but I am sure that I experienced the hardships while being born...

We rode our bikes to this place and man, it was a challenge! (I am a beginner biker so the steep hill along the way was difficult for me).

Muito bom para realizar algumas trilhas no local, passando por vários pontos onde cada um conta uma história sobre o período e quem foram os imperadores do lugar. Também conta sobre um herói de guerra onde possuiu uma estátua do mesmo, o lugar é bem arborizado e possui banheiro no local. Estacionamento não é dos melhores mais tem O local parece ter 3 entradas, o dia que visitamos estava acontecendo um evento de caçada ao tesouro bem interessante. Também a no local um mirante onde vc tem a vista de uma parte da cidade! Gostei do passeio pelo local ser bem tranquilo e com histórias do passado.
