Kariya City Transportation Children's Amusement Park — Attraction in Kariya

We went on a holiday for the golden week and it was packed.

Bought 10 tickets for only 500 yen it was unbelievably cheap. If your child is 2 years old and below you wo’nt even need to use a ticket for all the rides. So we still had 5 tickets remaining and gave it to other customer.

My 1.5 year old daughter had so much fun at the helicopter, water boat, carousel, and the mini shinkansen. The winner was the slides though, she didn’t want to stop.

The staff were all nice and friendly. They were smiling and greeting us throughout.

Just take note of the long lines and tip: bring obento or snacks and drinks because the food trucks will be quite a long wait on weekdays and holidays.

This theme park in Kariya is accessible by train. A few minutes walk from Kariya station. Each rides cost ¥50. At times there are mobile food carts available that serves Japanese foodie, but if you opt to pack your own bento and enjoy picnics you are free to spread your picnic mats anywhere while watching your kids having fun playing. 良すぎる。

ただ、良すぎて、人が多くて、乗り物の待ち時間が掛かる。 とはいえその待ち時間は、有名テーマパークなどの比ではなく、 どんなに長くても30分もすれば順番が回ってくるんですが、 小さな子供を連れていると、子供が途中でぐずり始めてしまうので、 そのあたりがちょっと親御さんとしては大変かもね。 でも、だいたいは10分ぐらいの待ち時間かな。

あ、、、ゴーカートはねぇ、、、 あれは、他の乗り物とは違ったなぁ。。。 人気過ぎて行列がすごかったので、 並ぶ前から諦めました。。。

ちなみに、1,000円分の『のりもの券』を買ったけど、 半分余った。。。 でも、損した気分にはならない。 いっぱい遊ばせてもらって、券は余ってても、 じゅうぶん得した気分になれる。

ていうか、これが市営(公営)っていうのがすごい。 割と公設の公園って、箱もの(施設)だけ作って 作りっぱなしって、よく批判の対象にされるけど、 ここって、かなりよく稼働して、整備されていると思います。 従業員の方たちも、年配者の再雇用なのかな、 結構高齢な方が多いので、大変だと思いますが、 逆に、個々の公園のメイン客層たる幼児には とても優しく・孫に接するように接してくれるのでありがたいです。

あと、結構昔からあるけど、トイレなどもよく手入れされていて、 施設全体通して、気持ちよく利用できます。

駐車場は、無料の駐車場はあるけど、 だいたいすぐ満車になるので、 最初っから近くの市営駐車場を利用するつもりで行ったほうが良い。 そのほうが精神衛生上もイライラしなくて済む。 市営駐車場は有料だけど、ガタガタ言うほどの金額にもならない。

ひとつ注意点としては、 食事は…持って行ったほうが良い。 園内に自販機として、飲み物、17アイスがあちこちにあって、 あとは、キッチンカー的な屋台が少しあるけど、 屋台のは……まぁ、推して知るべしなものだし、 自販機でも、飲み物とアイスばかりだとねぇ… ってことで、 ちびっこのお弁当を持参で行くほうが良いかな。 食べることが出来る場所は、 園内のわりとあちこちにあります。

まぁ、三河地域なので地域柄か、 言葉遣いをキツいと感じる方もいるようですが、 『下にも置かぬ』扱いをされないと憤慨する方は、 入園無料＆乗り物どれでも１回50円のここには 来ない方がいいと思う。
