Excellent!
We had the Complete Course at 6,500 yen per person. 60 minutes to eat all the strawberries you want. Also includes 650 grams of take home strawberries.
The timing was great as we were able to choose freely from 8 different types of strawberries. (see pictures for the 8 types.) You can also get as much condensed milk as you want.
The staff are very friendly. Lots of parking available. 15 to 20 minutes from Karuizawa Station by car.
We were lucky to be able to have all 8 types but depending on the time of years, some strawberries may not be available.
Suggest trying one of each type of strawberry, then go back to the strawberries that you like.
The greenhouse is well laid out and labeled by type of strawberry. The aisles are a little narrow, so try to go during a time when it’s not busy.
We also tried the strawberry smoothie which was pretty good. The JAF discount was also nice.
They provide wet wipes and have sinks with running water and soap inside the greenhouse.
Highly recommend this strawberry farm!
We will definitely stop by again when we are...
Read moreI had a wonderful time at Karuizawa Garden Farm Strawberry Farm in Karuizawa, Japan. It’s a great place to enjoy fresh and delicious strawberries of different varieties. You can choose to pick your own strawberries or opt for the “all-you-can-eat” premier course, which gives you 40 minutes to indulge in the sweet and juicy fruits. The farm is very clean and well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I especially liked the Royal Queen variety, which is very popular and has a good balance of sweetness and acidity. The farm also has a gift shop where you can buy unique strawberries such as white ones, strawberry jam, ice cream, and other products made from their own strawberries. I highly recommend this farm for anyone who loves strawberries and wants to...
Read moreI tried to book strawberry picking twice, but due to less than ideal harvest, the booking were cancelled both times. It was understandable but we were quite disappointed and would still like to visit the farm, so we drove there but they were closed. The opening hours seems to be at the owner's will and different website shows different opening hours. We made a lot of effort to visit, but were...
