東扇島に4つある公園のうちの一つ。他の公園と異なり海に面さないのが特徴。 BBQ場があり、管理人さんがいるので利用の際に安心感がある。敷地は広く遊ぶのに不自由することは無い。 よく整備されていてベンチも複数あり、ウォーターフロントとしての利用も想定されていると思われる。 BBQ場以外の特徴としては桜の木が植えられており、春先であれば花見を楽しむことも出来る。トイレも男女別のものが掃除もされてあり、気持ちよく利用できる公園である。

東公園よりも風の影響が少ない気がしました。 平日なら混雑はほぼ起きません。貸切状態でしたね。 受付に関して一点注意点があります。 写真にも掲げましたが、中公園内の管理人が居るプレハブでの受付ではなく、駐車場から公園に向かう途中右手にある交流棟での受付後、伝票を管理人に渡す事で手続きが完了します。 ご存知だと思いますが、川崎市が運営しているふれあいネットから予約のうえ使用が許可されています。
