Kawasaki Marien is Kawasaki Marine Entrance, which contains some parks and a Tower. There are tennis courts, gym, and beach volleyball. You can camp and barbeque too. There are car parking lots. This is my first time here and I was surprised that this place exist here in the center of logistic companies and port of big companies in Japan. We played basketball here. The court is very wide and well maintain. And I think this has a park where you can go for a walk.

10月7・8日に川崎マリエン周辺で開催された第50回川崎みなと祭りに行ってきました。ステージイベント・川崎港クルーズ・バザールコーナーなどのイベントがあり、事前募集していた川崎港クルーズに見事当選！川崎マリエン会場・東公園会場に無料駐車場があるとのことなので、車でさくっと出かけてきました。駐車場はマリエンから少し離れた岸壁ですが、目の前に海上自衛隊訓練支援艦の4202 くろべが停泊していて大興奮♡ イベントのために来ていて、予約なしの艦艇公開もあったのですがちょうどクルーズの時間だったので残念…。自衛隊は野外炊具車や警務車両の展示や、恒例の南極の氷の地本ブースもありました。川崎港クルーズは風が強めですがお天気もよく、1時間半の特別クルーズを楽しみました。ガイドの方が説明してくださるので、新たな発見もたくさん。火力発電所は羽田空港が近い関係で煙突に高さ規制があるそうです。船の信号は「O」はOUTで出向可能、「K」はKAWASAKIで東行信号だそうです。工場夜景が有名ですが、昼に見てもなかなかの迫力。ファイナルファンタジーのミッドガルの魔晄炉みたいでゲーマー時代を思い出しました。帰りがけに屋台でチョコバナナとお好み焼きを買っておやつにしていたら、フロン太くんが歩いていました。一緒に写真を撮ってカードをプレゼントしてもらい、子供たちも楽しかったようです。
