🏣北海道北広島市広葉町3ｰ1 🚏🚌…松葉町1丁目下車、若葉町2丁目下車 🚃北広島駅より徒歩10分～15分程 🅿️🚗…有ります ※ 開館時間…9時～17時休園日…月曜日入館料…無料 ※ 建物は鉄筋コンクリート二階建広葉交流センター二階に有りました。 ※ 北広島の豊かな自然、市の歴史、産業等々の情報提供、発信の場だそうです。北広島にゆかりの人物紹介、北広島の成り立ち(地名)、自然遺産の紹介ビジターホールには北広島の航空写真が床面に貼られてい住まいの状況が良く分かります。 ※ 和田郁次郎、中山久蔵、W.Sクラーク博士の功績を知ることが出来ます(広島県安芸との繋がりを知り開拓史を知りました) ※ 1階には子供達が作った(ケナガマンモス像の親子)が見られます (縄文時代の遺跡からの発掘物の展示品) キタヒロシマカイギュウの骨格模型 ※ 郷土に関する資料等が閲覧出来るそうです。 ※ 北広島の地名に引かれ伺ってみました、広島県が故郷で有った方々のご苦労と努力が今の北広島ですね次回伺う事があれば歴史探索してみたいです。沢山の方に利用されると良いですね✨

見学無料。誰でも自由に入場できる総合的な文化施設。ミュージアムとされる部分を目的に訪ねた。大きな建物で元は学校とのことだが廃校とは見えずにずいぶんとキレイで設備も新しそうに見えた。ミュージアムエリアには、案内板に導かれ2階の奥に進んでいく。入ってすぐはフリースペースになっていて見どころはなく、展示の大部分は階段を降りた1階フロアになる。階段を降りて一番最初に目に飛び込んでくるのは大きな親子マンモスの模型で、北広島の子供が制作したらしくすごくよくできていた。他の展示としては、北海道と北広島の成り立ちを辿れる分かりやすいがありがちな紹介となっていて、ボリューム感もなく少し退屈なものだった。10分程度で見れる簡単なミュージアムで、無駄に広い構内を歩くのは面倒くさくもあり、マンモス模型を見に行くぐらいのあまり収穫のない観覧となった。
