A great collection of works from Dali and a featured artist. Only the art titles and artist names are in English, descriptions are only in Japanese. That said, the works often speak for themselves. Photos are only allowed in 2-ish spots inside the museum. The grounds are impressive with streams and allow for sitting or strolling. Read moreI found the building to be really beautiful and it felt like we were not in Japan anymore. It must have been even better looking on a sunny day with a blue sky. It felt like Europe.
I was surprised at how few tourists come up here. Maybe because of the lack of access so you probably need a rental car to come.

Read moreThe museum is amazingly beautiful and is easy to access to. The building is large unfortunately only the first floor is opened for exhibition. Still there are plenty paintings and sculptures by Dali which are very worthy to see. Make sure to check and confirm the exact date of the open season though. I have planned my trip since Nov 2018.
