Road Station Urabandai — Attraction in Kitashiobara

Went out of our way to come to this road station to get back near some snow for the kids. There was plenty of snow and it was a nice quiet place with clean facilities. We came here in early December and the scenery was amazing. Everything was dusted white with snow! A nice Michi no eki. Probs perfect of you were in a camper like us and venturing to a ski slope nearby. There was also an onsen 5 minutes down the road to get cleaned...

We slept here overnight in our campervan in mid April. We didn't realise there would be so much snow so this place was very helpful. It was quiet to sleep at overnight and the toilets were very clean.

There is an ice cream stand and a farmers market. We had wasabi ice cream for breakfast...

「夏野菜山塩冷やかけそば」 皮をむいた茄子やトマトの夏野菜、オクラにモロヘイヤのヌルヌルコンビ(^^) 地粉手打ち蕎麦が美味しいし、山塩スープの出汁が美味い💯 あっという間完食🎵 食欲増進間違いなしの夏バテ知らずの逸品です👏

２杯目は「冷製山塩トマトつけ麺」 つけ汁の地物トマトのピューレが極上トマトジュースのようで美味すぎ🍅 山塩スープとベストマッチ 麺もめちゃうま、レモンで爽やか🍋 大好き茗荷もよい仕事(^^) 体によい？店内連食でした🍜 景色もよいし最高🗻

お蕎麦もラーメンも本格的で大満足🎵 またこなくては😁
